Jennilyn Jackman Baptiste, MS, RD, CDN, is a New York City based registered dietitian practicing over twenty-five years and founded LeSash Nutrition & Health, LLC in 2010. She specializes in weight management and chronic diseases like diabetes, cardiovascular and hypertension. In her practice, she advocates for her client’s right to quality care and guides them on achieving their questions answered before leaving any medical appointment.
Jennilyn graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Bachelor's degree with honors (cum laude) in Dietetics with a minor in Biology, and a Masters degree in Medical Biology and Nutritional Science from Long Island University, C.W. Post campus. She holds Certificates of Training in Adult Weight Management and Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management. She is an active member of The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (see full lists of Dietetic Practice Groups).
Jennilyn’s background is a diverse experience as a Clinical Dietitian in hospitals, a nursing home, Long Term Home Health Care Programs, and schools. As a Community Nutritionist she worked with WIC program as a Consultant and Nutrition Educator, and today continues to offer private counseling and consultations to Doctors, Physical Trainers, Individuals, Senior Centers, Schools, Early Learning Centers, Churches, Corporations, and Health Fair Organizations in office and offsite.
Jennilyn loves her work and is passionate about making a difference in the health of the community. She is on a mission to raise awareness about the importance of proper nutrition, adequate exercise and optimum health. This empowering knowledge can help all ages to make conscious decisions about the necessary lifestyle changes to invest in their health today to and consequently enjoy a better quality life.
